Murashige & Skoog Basal Medium with Vitamins (MSP09)

Widely used in plant tissue culture to support growth and shoot proliferation across monocots and dicots.

Supreme Tissue Culture Grade Agar (60 g)

A reliable solidifying agent, typically used at 0.5–1.0% (w/v), essential for in vitro root development.

PPM™ – Plant Preservative Mixture (30 mL)

A heat-stable biocide that prevents microbial contamination without affecting germination, callus formation, or regeneration. It controls bacterial and fungal spores, is autoclavable, and offers a cost-effective alternative to antibiotics.

Plant Growth Regulators

6-BAP (30 mL): Synthetic cytokinin that drives cell division, shoot multiplication, and bud formation.

IBA (30 mL): Auxin that promotes strong root initiation and enhances microcutting survival rates.

NAA (30 mL): Auxin that stimulates root and callus formation, often combined with cytokinins for optimal growth.

Round Snap-Lock Containers

Description: Heat-resistant and autoclavable.

Please note that the Plant Tissue Culture Starter Kit no longer includes pH up and pH down, even though they appear in some older videos. These items were originally added to the kit but later removed due to shipping issues. We do not advertise this in our kit or description of the product.

What does the Kit does not come with that you may need.

  • For sugar, you can use ACS-grade sucrose or simply regular white sugar from your pantry.
  • Gloves and a mask
  • An electronic pH meter
  • A precise weighing scale for measuring media (make sure it can measure very small quantities, such as 0.5 g) or a measuring spoon.
  • pH Up and Down (optional, if needed)
