FAQ

How do I store Maitake?
Store in a paper bag or box in the fridge at 2–4°C. Their shelf life is typically 5–7 days, sometimes longer. If stored at 10°C, they last around 3 days; at 20°C, about 1–2 days.

My Maitake has started to dry out—is it safe to eat?
Yes! It’s perfectly safe. Drying out slightly can even intensify the flavour. Just trim any overly dry edges.
