What is Light Malt Extract  (LME) Powder?

Light Malt Extract (LME) is a concentrated liquid extract made from malted barley commonly used as an ingredient in brewing beer, ale, and mead. In mushroom growing, it is used to expand mycelium in various forms. It provides the ideal blend of nutrients and carbohydrates that mushroom mycelium needs for ideal growth and is much complex than your simple sugars like Honey or glucose.

What is Dried Malt Extract used for in mushroom growing?

How do I store Light Malt Extract?

Keep your item dry and cool to avoid melting and clumping. Our LME includes desiccants to keep moisture away. Using an airtight container is also recommended .
